RELATE COUNSELLING

ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE

Relationship Counselling

Whatever the stresses and strains on your relationship, counselling can offer a way forward. Counsellors aren't there to make judgements about the rights or wrongs of relationship difficulties. Their role is to listen, to encourage you to talk openly about your concerns, and help you reach your own decisions about the best way forward.

Relate Family Counselling

Everyone has family arguments at some time. Usually these just blow over, but sometimes they just get worse. This is when a Relate Family Counsellor can help you work things out in a way that's best for everyone.

Big changes in a family can cause stress for everyone, long running disputes can cause pain to the whole family, and the problems one person might be going through can affect their relationships with others.

CONSULTATIONS AND CONTACT INFO

Relate Family Counsellors don't take sides and won't tell you what to do. They will explore with the family the interpersonal relationships and work with you to move away from the problems. Before beginning Relate Family Counselling, you will have an initial consultation. Following that you set appointments with the counsellor that everyone can attend. The counsellor might suggest that family members sometimes come alone or in smaller groups or bring other relatives to some sessions.

Sex Counselling

Sexual problems can have a devastating effect on even the strongest of relationships. It's often hard to face up to difficulties and seek help. Our specially trained counsellors are experienced in helping people deal with a range of sexual problems including impotence, premature ejaculation and loss of sexual desire.

Many people find it difficult or embarrassing to share their sexual concerns. Our therapists know this and will quickly put you at ease. They will help you explore the reasons behind the problem and look at ways of addressing it. They will give you simple exercises to be carried out in the privacy of your own home.
